State Senator Mike Fasano endorsed House Majority Whip Jim Frishe for FL State Senate today. Fasano, a popular Senator representing parts of Pinellas, Pasco, Citrus, and Hernando counties has earned a reputation for being an outspoken advocate for his constituents in the face of special interests specifically on hot button issues like double-dipping and citizens insurance reform. Fasano joins a long list of Tampa Bay Republicans supporting Frishe for State Senate.

“I am honored today to announce my endorsement of House Majority Whip Jim Frishe for the Florida Senate. Jim Frishe stood up for consumers when he joined me in opposing legislation to allow Citizens Insurance to dump homeowners insurance policies into unregulated insurance companies. Jim has proven he has what it takes to stand up to special interests and party leadership when necessary to protect the citizens of Tampa Bay.”

“Senator Fasano has a long history of doing what’s right for his constituents, especially when it’s not easy. It is an honor to have his support and I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside Mike in the Florida Senate,” said Representative Jim Frishe.
