Judicial candidate Francis Maria Perrone qualifies for ballot for County Court race

Frances Maria Perrone has qualified to run for Hillsborough County Court Judge, Group 4 and will be included on the August primary election ballot.

Perrone is honored to have endorsements from many community members, the list of supporters is available at www.fmpforjudge.com.  Some of the endorsements include:

Attorney General Pam Bondi who commented, “I’ve known and worked with Frances Perrone for many years.  She is well-respected by her colleagues and possesses the temperament, demeanor and intellect to serve in our judiciary.  She would serve on the bench with the highest integrity and principles.

As a lifelong Tampa resident, Frances cares deeply for Tampa and Hillsborough County as evident by her community involvement.  Because of these fine qualities and her accomplishments, I proudly and enthusiastically endorse Frances Perrone for Hillsborough County Court Judge.”

Hillsborough County Firefighters, Local 2294, through their President George Sucarichi said, “Your work ethic, character, support of our community and deep family ties to Tampa and Hillsborough County are well known and admired.”

Fraternal Order of Police, District 3 Lodges, Inc., Gene Leonard, Director wrote, “We commend you for the many honorable years you spent in the State Attorney’s Office in Hillsborough County and your subsequent years in private law practice and we believe you will be the person that the office of County Judge, Group 4 needs.”

Perrone also earned endorsements from State Attorney Mark Ober, Tampa Fire Fighters Local 754, Teamsters Local No. 79, Optimist Club of Greater Tampa Bay, and F. Dennis Alvarez, Esq.   These current and past Presidents of the Hillsborough County Bar Association have all endorsed Perrone’s campaign:  Pedro Bajo, Jr., Esq., Thomas R. Bopp, Esq., Ron Cacciatore, Esq., R. Tom Elligett, Esq., Amy Farrior, Esq., and Kenneth Turkel, Esq.

Perrone, a third generation Tampa native, earned degrees from Florida State University, University of South Florida and Florida State University College of Law. She has worked in and around the Hillsborough County Courthouse since the age of 19. Perrone is Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law by the Florida Bar.

Perrone is committed to public service and the administration of justice.  She actively participates in several organizations including the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, Herbert Goldberg Inn of Court, DUI Counterattack Board, Pepin Heart Hospital Community Advisory Board, and Pan American University Women. She is an active member and lector at St. Joseph Catholic Church and volunteers weekly in Hillsborough County Schools.
