Kathleen Peters raises over $10K during first quarter for challenge to Rick Kriseman

Republican Kathleen Peters began her campaign for the Florida House by raising $10,155 during the first fundraising quarter. Peters is challenging Democratic incumbent Rick Kriseman for the newly drawn District 69.

Among Peters’ major contributors were Maureen Ahern, Brian Aungst Jr., lobbyist Ron Book, GOP activist Nick DiCiglie, Senator Jack Latvala and Beth Rawlins.

Kriseman, who could not raise money during the legislative session, picked up just $3,500, bringing his overall total to $28,150.
