Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate Kendrick Meek is launching a contest today where supporters who sign up for the campaign’s text message program will be entered in a contest where the winner will have the opportunity to meet basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson at a May 5, 2010, event in Miami. Floridians who text MAGIC to 35736 prior to midnight on May 4, 2010, will automatically be entered to win the contest. Supporters can also sign up at the campaign web site at www.KendrickMeek.com.
