Kevin Beckner adds to his fundraising totals in Hillsborough court clerk race

Fundraising totals for February are in for the candidates running for the Hillsborough Clerk of the Court seat currently held by Democrat Pat Frank.

The 85-year-old icon in Hillsborough Democratic politics is facing a challenge within her own party for re-election this year from Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin Beckner, 44.

Beckner brought in $9,620 in February, while Frank took in $3,850. Republican Eric Seidel raised $$4,050.

To date, Beckner has raised $167,936. Frank has raised $106,574.

Seidel, the former Fox 13 consumer reporter who is running unopposed in the Republican field, has raised $69,588.

The Democratic primary takes place on August 30.
