Kevin Beckner kicks his fundraising for County Commission race up a notch

Democrat County Commissioner Kevin Beckner, facing two active Republican challengers, kicked his fundraising up a notch in his countywide reelection campaign, reports Bill Varian.

In the most hotly contested campaign, he raised $42,810 in the quarter, bringing his total raised to $118,256. He has spent $14,899. Republican Steve Cona raised $9,835 to take his total to $37,178 after two quarters. He has spent $14,984. Margaret Iuculano reported taking in another $10,555 in her second quarter to bring her to $38,048. She has spent $21,675.
