Kevin Beckner raises tenfold what Pat Frank does in January for Hillsborough Court Clerk contest

Kevin Beckner raised over $9,100 in January for his bid for the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Hillsborough County. That’s 10 times the amount that Democratic party incumbent Pat Frank raised last month, which was $905.

Beckner, 44, the Hillsborough County Commissioner who upset some Democrats last spring when he announced he would be challenging the 85-year-old Frank, also has a significant advantage regarding cash on hand in their campaign.

Beckner has $128,626 on hand. Frank has $65,842.

The Republican in the race, former Fox 13 consumer reporter Eric Seidel, has not yet reported his January totals.
