Democrats Marck Bernard and Jeff Clemens may end up in a two-way primary for Senate District 27 in Palm Beach County, with former Rep. Kevin Rader saying he’s going to run for a House seat. Rader had been planning to run for the open Senate seat, but told the Palm Beach Post this week that instead he’s going to challenge Rep. Steve Perman, D-Boca Raton, who is running in House District 81.

As of Thursday afternoon, Rader hadn’t qualified, but told the Post he planned to do so before the noon, Friday deadline.
