Klout snags $8.5 million in new funding

Klout, the social media analytics agency, today announced it has received $8.5 million in funding.

The San Francisco-based company worked with the Kleiner Perkings Caufield & Byer sFund with participation from Graycrot Partners. Other investors in the round include ff Asset Management, Paige Craig, Howard Lindzon, Thomas McInerney and Bobby Yazdani, among others.
