Former Florida Secretary of State Kurt Browning, now running for Pasco Superintendent of Schools, collected enough signatures from voters to qualify for the ballot today, according to his campaign Twitter account. Browning tweeted:
@KurtSBrowning: Collected enough petition cards to have my name placed on the Primary ballot. Thanks to all that signed and helped!!
Incumbent Superintendent Heather Fiorentino is still behind in her effort to collect enough signatures. As of today, she had just 922 certified signatures of the 2,980 needed. She has until the first week of May to complete her efforts.
