If Apollo Creed had beaten Rocky Balboa in not just the first Rocky, but the second one as well, would there have been a third movie?
Doubt it.
Democrat nice guy Carl Zimmermann would probably argue otherwise. He’s running for third time against Rep. Peter Nehr, despite having been beaten by Nehr twice before.
(Looking back, re-read my post about giving Zimmermann credit for trying and the Times’ coverage of the race, describing it as a healthy discussion of the issues.)
Regardless, Zimmermann is back at it, having qualified on Monday for the newly drawn District 65 seat.
It’s nice to see Zimmermann off the mat, but isn’t it a TKO if you get knocked down three times?
