Leadership St. Pete, one of the nation’s oldest leadership programs, announced three dozen local executives that will become its Class of 2016.

The six-month program, a division of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, is designed to promote community leadership with an in-depth overview of the social, economic, business and political issues facing the St. Petersburg area. The goal of LSP is to identify, recruit and develop leaders representing the diversity of the city and will be looked upon for future leadership roles.

“This year’s class is filled with diverse individuals who will greatly impact our community,” said Class Chair Leah Bickley in a statement. “Members of the Class of 2016 can look forward to new experiences that will embrace all the unique learning opportunities that LSP, and St. Petersburg, has to offer.”
