in Statewide/Top Headlines by

The state House and Senate have issued legislative calendar changes for the final week of 2015 Special Session C, which is set to end November 6. The session was convened to amend Senate maps, per an adverse Florida Supreme Court judgment that found the upper chamber violated anti-gerrymandering laws.

A number of scheduled hearing times were jointly amended Wednesday afternoon.

A meeting of the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee — previously not scheduled to meet during Week 3 — will now meet on the morning of Monday, Nov. 2, in Senate Room 301 from 9:30 a.m. until 1 a.m.

With a hat tip to LobbyTools, the following meeting times have also been revised:

Tuesday, Nov. 3

House Children, Families & Seniors Subcommittee — 102 H 9 a.m.-11 a.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 3
