“Let’s Get to Work,” the political committee closely associated with Gov. Rick Scott’s re-election campaign received $55,000 in contributions from July 19-25, for an overall total to $33,035,927, according to newly filed reports.
“Work” spent a total of about $19.15 million, much of it on ads boosting Scott and attacking likely Democratic candidate Charlie Crist.
Between July 19 and July 25, the committee’s largest contribution of $47,000 came from national contracting firm Hensel Phelps Construction, with a Southeast district office in Orlando.
Reports show “Work” also spent $69,168 in the weeklong period, with $56,444 to On Message, Inc., for media production.
