Lizbeth Benacquisto ad raises “serious questions” on Curt Clawson business experience

A new ad released by Lizbeth Benacquisto’s congressional campaign raises serious concerns about the business experience of her opponent, Florida 19th Congressional District hopeful Curt Clawson.

According to 30-second digital spot, the former CEO donated to “Obama liberals,” bankrupted his business twice and fired thousands of workers, all while paying himself millions.

The ad also claims Clawson “turned his back on retirees” and hired lobbyists to receive massive government bailouts.

Clawson, a past director of automobile-wheel manufacturer Hayes Lemmerz International and COO of American National Can, has been leaning heavily on his previous business experience, with a platform that paints him as a Washington “outsider.”

Benacquisto faces both Clawson and former State Rep. Paige Kreegel in the April 22 GOP primary for the seat formerly held by disgraced U.S. Rep. Trey Radel. The general election is June 24.

The ad is now available on YouTube.
