Lobbying the faithful: Religious groups spent $390 million on advocacy

The number of religious groups with a presence in Washington has more than quadrupled since the 1960s and they’re spending at least $390 million a year on advocacy, according to a new report out this afternoon from the Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion and Public Life.
