Barney Bishop, who stepped down as president and CEO of Associated Industries of Florida last year, then helped create lobbying firm Adams St. Advocates, has parted ways with partners Robert Beck, Claudia Davant, Dave Ericks and Tanya Jackson.

“It was cordial and friendly,” emails Bishop. “I just wanted to go in a different direction.”

One direction Bishop has been traveling in is as one of the leaders of a national group of Democrats supporting Mitt Romney.
