Loony Tea Partier Marg Baker files to run against Rep. Peter Nehr

There was not a doubt in my mind, after news broke that he was operating an internet sweepstakes cafe, that Rep. Peter Nehr would draw a primary opponent.

I just didn’t expect it to be Marg Baker.

That’s right. She’s baaaccckkk.

You may remember dear ol’ Marg for her compassionate idea to put illegal immigrants ininternment camps like those used to house Japanese immigrants in the World War II era.

When given the chance to explain what she meant,it turns out she meant pretty much what it sounded like.

“We can ship them out to the middle of the country and put up high walls and leave them there,” Bakertold Salon.

After losing handily to Peter Nehr in the GOP primary last fall, Baker pretty much went back under whatever rock from which she crawled out.

But now she’s back.

According to the Florida Division of Elections, Marg filed to run against Nehr on Friday, setting up a primary race in which the incumbent who runs a quasi-legal gambling parlor in defiance of the local sheriff is not the craziest candidate in the race.

You might just want to keep an eye on District 48.
