Democratic state Rep. Lori Berman is now one of two dozen other candidates who have filed paperwork to run for the House in 2016, according to the Division of Elections website. It will be Berman’s fourth, and final, term in the Florida House.
Berman is running unopposed this year for House District 90, which covers parts of Palm Beach County.
Filing paperwork for a campaign account allows candidates to begin fundraising.
Six other Democrats in Southeast Florida have filed paperwork to run in 2016: state Reps. Dave Kerner of Lake Worth, Irv Slosberg of Boca Raton, Katie Edwards of Plantation, Evan Jenne of Dania Beach, Richard Stark of Weston and David Richardson of Miami Beach.
