Lost piggy has pink tootsies

Know anyone who’s missing a pig?

Because someone in Clearwater is and from the looks of it the pig owner might be a bit down about missing their adorable little swine. The pink-and-black pot-belly pig has painted toenails.

The urge to find this pretty gal’s owner leaped out at me because my kids often paint the dogs’ toenails. And trust me, it’s less a show of vanity than one of love and adoration. Whoever owns this lost piggy is surely heartbroken.

The pig was found romping around a yard in a Clearwater neighborhood near Lombardy Drive. The owner of the home, Angel Johnson, said the pig even tried to find some snacks in her son’s stroller sitting outside. According to the Tampa Bay Times, it took authorities at least 15 minutes to coax the pig into a crate.

If anyone knows anything about the pig, its pink toenails or its owner they should call the SPCA Tampa Bay at (727) 586-3591.

It seems like an odd thing to post on a political blog, but seriously – pink toenails!
