Major fundraiser hosted by Don Gaetz & Will Weatherford planned for this weekend at Universal Studios

Fat Tuesday may have occurred two weeks ago, but you can still get in on the Mardi Gras action — while contributing big bucks to the Florida GOP — this weekend at a Mardi Gras-themed fundraiser at Universal Studios hosted by Senate President Don Gaetz, Senate President Designate Andy Gardiner, House Speaker Will Weatherford and House Speaker Designate Steve Crisafulli.

The all-day affair begins with a VIP tour of Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, continues through lunch and dinner and ends with a VIP viewing of the ‘Mardi Gras Celebration Parade and Concert.’

Not coincidentally, the fundraiser is taking place the weekend before the start of the sixty-day legislative session when lawmakers are prohibited raising funds for themselves or a political party.
