Members of USF Poly Transition Monitoring Committee selected

The names of the three people who will make up the monitoring committee to oversee the transition of the University of South Florida Polytechnic to independence have been made public.

Kelly Layman, spokeswoman for the State University System of Florida Board of Governors, said Wednesday night that Richard A. Beard III of Tampa, Morteza “Mori” Hosseini of Daytona Beach and Norman D. Tripp of Fort Lauderdale will watch over the process.

The Board of Governors approved the concept of independence for the polytechnic earlier this month
