Miami Herald story about Trayvon Martin's school suspensions likely sets record for deleted comments

A story in the Miami Herald offering a less-than-flattering picture of Trayvon Martin may have set the record for comments deleted by the moderator.

From Trevor Butterworth:  I wonder whether this story takes the record for comments deleted by moderator: “Multiple suspensions paint complicated portrait of Trayvon Martin”

“I called’s Jeff Kleinman this afternoon and he said that “we were just talking about that on the desk.” The web staff suspects the story has set a comments-deleted record, but Kleinman said he’s going to double-check for confirmation and pass along stats later today.”

How many of those comments included the n-word, I wonder?
