On Friday, GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney will making a campaign stop in Saint Petersburg at the St. Petersburg Pier.

Presumably he is coming to hold a rally — not to see Baby Ella, who should be with us by then.

According to the Romney camp, doors will open 3:45 p.m. with the event beginning at 5:45 p.m. The event will take place at the Pier Park, located at 550 2nd Avenue NE St.

All attendees, according to a news release, will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.

To enter, you must have a ticket. To get one, RSVP for free online. You can register up to eight people at a time.
