The new Social Security offices you’ve probably driven by several times and wondered, “What’s going in there?” will open Thursday at 30 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. S.
According to a blurb in the Times, the new location will include much of the same staff and services as the former offices on 34th St., which closed Friday, said district manager B.J. Hughes. The updated building near Central Avenue will include a hearings office on the second floor, which used to require a drive to Tampa.
