No health exchange in Florida means a lot less money for state’s health issues

Florida Republican leaders flatly rejected creating a health-insurance exchange to carry out the federal Affordable Care Act, leaving it to the Obama administration to run the online marketplace in the state. But Kaiser Health News reports that the decision means Florida will get relatively little money to help consumers choose among health plans.
