Our daughter, Ella Joyce, met the President of the United States this morning

Ybor City, Tampa, Florida.

After President Obama finished addressing the crowd, he bounded off stage and scooped up little Miss Ella, asking what her name was and saying “How are you?”

Michelle then shared a story about why we were able to have Ella. Then I introduced myself as “her husband and her father” (funny, how that’s what’s become most important). I was able to shake the President’s hand, not as a candidate, but as a fellow dad.
