Republican Attorney General Pam Bondi added another $24,565 in contributions Aug. 2-8 as she continues to add to her re-election fundraising dominance, according to newly filed reports.
With an overall total of $1,823,426 as of Aug. 8, Bondi has only spent $156,717.
One of Bondi’s two Democratic opponents, former Department of Children and Families Secretary George Sheldon, took in $11,435 during the same weeklong reporting period, for a total of $326,555. As of Aug. 8, Sheldon spent a total of $309,701 overall.
Current finance numbers for the other Democratic candidate, House Minority Leader Perry Thurston, are pending as of Friday morning.
