In his first fundraising report since announcing his candidacy for State Senate District 14, Perry McGriff took in $127,625 coming from 358 individual donors contributing to his campaign.

“I’m very proud of the outpouring of support from the community that helped us reach this goal. My contributors represent a broad cross section of people, all of whom are committed to our campaign and getting Florida back on the right track,” said McGriff.

During the first fundraising period, McGriff posted monetary contributions of $77,625 plus in-kind donations of $13,121.09. McGriff also made a $50,000 personal loan to his campaign. “This is going to be a tough race and I want to make sure that those who chose to support me know that I am committed – and in this to win,” said McGriff.

“Our contribution report reflects support from businesses, unions, Democrats, and Republicans, at levels ranging from $50 to $500,” said Campaign Spokesman Eric Conrad. “People know Perry. They trust him and are willing to invest in his campaign because they know he will fight for them and not the special interests in Tallahassee.”
