Previously featured as a “30 Under 30″ rising star on SaintPetersBlog and with a brand new baby girl, Allison Liby-Schoonover has certainly been busy, both personally and professionally.
As of Sept. 1, Liby-Schoonover becomes the newest member of the Metz, Husband & Daughton team. She will leave her previous role overseeing education and agriculture policy for the Senate Republican caucus serving under Majority Leader Lizbeth Benacquisto.
Liby-Schoonover, a Teach for America alum who holds a masters degree in education policy from the University of Pennsylvania, brings a wealth of experience and policy acumen to the firm.
Prior to her time in the Senate, Liby-Schoonover was Deputy Finance Director for Senate Campaigns at the Republican Party of Florida.
In her profile for “30 Under 30,” Liby-Schoonover noted that so far, she has already worked as “a literature teacher at an inner-city high school in West Philly, a registered lobbyist, a political fundraiser/Republican Party of Florida staffer, and a Senate staffer.”
