Longtime Republican political specialist Brad Herold has joined the office of U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio as Deputy State Director, with Rich Kinkoff promoted to Correspondence Manager.
Herold previously served as campaign manager in the U.S. Senate bid of both Mike McFadden and U.S. House race of Adam Hasner, as well as Deputy Staff Director for the Majority Office of the Florida House of Representatives and coordinator of Gov. Rick Scott’s transition team.
“Brad has an impressive résumé of working in Florida government and politics,” says a statement from Rubio’s office. “Brad will help us continue to ensure that the work the Senator is doing in Washington, D.C. is shared with our neighbors from Pensacola to the Keys and everywhere in between.”
For nearly four years, Nick Colella was Rubio’s Director of Constituent Communications; he is leaving for a position at defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton.
“Nick has been a trustworthy and invaluable member of our team since the earliest moments in Senator Rubio’s term,” the statement continued. “He plays a key role in helping communicate the Senator’s priorities with the people who elected him to serve, and he’s done so with a positive attitude and easy going manner.”
Kinkoff is described as a “loyal, dedicated and hard-working member” of the Rubio team, who since starting as an intern nearly two years ago, has become “one of the first people to show up to the office each morning and one of the last to leave.”
