AT&T today announced that Elise McCabe has been named Vice President Regulatory and Public Policy of AT&T Florida, Puerto Rico & US Virgin Islands and Juan Carlos (JC) Flores has been named Vice President Government Affairs of AT&T Florida.

Their experience in telecom and at the capitol combined with their desire to serve the state of Florida is invaluable in their new leadership roles. Together we will work closely with communities and lawmakers statewide to ensure Florida is poised to be a leader in connectivity and technology growth.”
McCabe most recently served as State Director – Legislative Affairs, AT&T Florida and Juan Carlos as a Regional Director, AT&T Florida.
As Vice President of Regulatory and Public Policy AT&T Florida, Puerto Rico & USVI McCabe will be responsible for AT&T’s activities in regulatory and state policy and consumer affairs. McCabe most recently served as State Director – Legislative Affairs with AT&T Florida.
Prior to her time with AT&T, McCabe served as the Director of Legislative Affairs and Director of Regulatory Affairs for BellSouth Florida. McCabe was a founding member of the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists and later earned her DPL (Designated Professional Lobbyist). She also served as the past President of Florida Telecommunications Industry Association and is a Leadership Florida and Leadership Tallahassee graduate.

As Vice President Government Affairs of AT&T Florida, Flores will oversee the company’s local, state and federal government relations in Florida. Flores most recently served as Regional Director of External Affairs at AT&T Florida. His region consisted of Miami-Dade and Monroe County which include local and state government officials. Prior to joining AT&T, Flores managed the Carlos Gimenez for Mayor campaign in 2011 and served as Director of Communications for then Miami-Dade Commissioner Carlos Gimenez, Miami-Dade Field Director for Rudy Giuliani’s 2008 Presidential Campaign, Special Assistant to Florida Speaker Marco Rubio at the Republican Party of Florida
