Personnel note: Former Hills. GOP Chair Deborah Cox-Roush takes job with 2012 RNC

Former Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee Chair Deborah Cox-Roush must keep the Microsoft Word file of her resume in an easily accessible place, considering the number of political jobs she’s taken on this past year.

Cox-Roush resigned her position as county chair to go to work for Herman Cain’s presidential campaign only weeks before Cain’s bid for the presidency imploded.

Cox-Roush next landed with the Gingrich campaign, just as the former Speaker of the House’s presidential ambitions were reaching their peak. Now, DCR has taken on another short-term project, going to work for the Republican National Committee’s Committee on Arrangements, the arm of the GOP which oversees the 2012 Republican convention in Tampa.

DCR said she could not comment on what her duties are, though the Tampa Tribune reports she will be in charge of volunteers. The newspaper even said she is “known as a tireless volunteer…” That’s a pretty nice plug.

“I don’t really know the details yet, so I can’t comment,” Cox-Roush said.

Regardless, good luck in your new endeavor, DCR.
