Former state prosecutor Sasha Lohn-McDermott has joined leading public relations firm Tucker/Hall as a Senior Account Supervisor.
A Tampa resident, Lohn-McDermott most recently served as an assistant statewide prosecutor in the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution, where Florida Trend’s Legal Elite recognized her as a Top Government Attorney.
Prior to her tenure at the AG office, Lohn-McDermott clerked for the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida in the office of Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington. Lohn-McDermott also worked as a commercial litigator in the Tampa law firm Bush Ross, P.A.
“Sasha’s experience as a trial prosecutor will be helpful to our clients who have public affairs and crisis management needs,” said Tucker/Hall President Bill Carlson in a statement. “She’s worked on complicated cases her entire career so that experience translates well as she begins working on the complex issues our clients face.”
Lohn-McDermott is a Florida State University graduate who also holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law, where she was an editor of the Florida Law Review.
“Tucker/Hall has an excellent reputation because of the team they’ve assembled, and the results they get on behalf of their clients,” Lohn-McDermott said. “I’m honored to be a part of this company and look forward to working with businesses, individuals, and organizations in Florida and beyond.”
