Personnel note: Hill+Knowlton promotes Bob Lotane

Hill+Knowlton Strategies today announced the promotion of public affairs team member Bob Lotane from senior consultant to vice president in its Tallahassee office. In his new position, Lotane will take on a larger role of managing multiple public affairs accounts and strategic communications plans. 

“We’re so pleased to welcome Bob as a vice president in our Tallahassee office,” said H+K Executive Vice President and General Manager Harry Costello. “Bob has already achieved great results for our clients by utilizing his extensive background in media relations, the property and casualty insurance market, business and government, and we look forward to expanding his impact in this new role.” 

Lotane has more than a decade’s worth of experience in the public affairs, communications and public relations fields with a specific focus on public policy, government and media relations. Previously, Lotane consulted on a variety of communications and public relations projects and campaigns. Prior to that, Lotane served as the political and communications director for the Florida Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, communications director for the Florida Department of Insurance Regulation and press secretary to Florida’s Chief Financial Officer.
