Personnel note: Jodi Stevens leaving Mayernick Group for new role at PACE Center for Girls

30-under-30-jodi-stevens-1024x1024Mayernick Group legislative consultant Jodi Stevens has left the firm for a new role as Director of Government Affairs for PACE Center for Girls.

PACE is aĀ statewideĀ nonprofitĀ prevention and early intervention model, which specializes in education,Ā counselingĀ and advocacyĀ for middle and high school aged girls.

Stevens, one of SaintPetersBlog’s ā€œ30 under 30ā€ class of 2015, was most recently an associate with the Mayernick Group, which counts PACE CenterĀ for GirlsĀ among its clients.Ā  During law school, she worked withĀ theĀ Southern Strategy Group and the Akerman-Senterfitt law firm.

At PACE, Stevens will be responsible for both Legislative and Executive branchĀ education andĀ legislative effortsĀ forĀ PACE’sĀ 19Ā centersĀ locatedĀ throughout Florida.Ā  In addition, Stevens willĀ oversee the legislativeĀ efforts associated with PACE’s expansionĀ effortsĀ into other states,Ā including Georgia, and its federal work on behalf of girls and young women.

A native of Bartow, Stevens, 29, received her undergraduate and law degrees from Florida State University.Ā  She is a member of the Florida Bar.
