AT&T has announced the appointment of Joe York as Vice President-Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, AT&T Florida. He will be responsible for all legislative and regulatory affairs in Florida following a reorganization after the retirement of Jerry Hendrix at the end of 2011.

York will continue to be based out of Jacksonville, FL. He most recently served as the Vice President – Legislative Affairs with AT&T Florida. Prior to that he served as the Regional Director of Corporate and External Affairs for BellSouth in Central Florida. In addition to Joe’s continuing leadership in Legislative Affairs, he will be responsible for AT&T’s activities in regulatory and state consumer affairs.
