Dunedin Mayor Dave Eggers has out raised all of his opponents for the North Pinellas District 4 for Pinellas County Commission. To date he’s brought in $41,895, but has spent $36,761.
Eggers fought his way through a crowded primary defeating seven other GOP candidates including former State Representative Peter Nehr and fundraising rockstar dentist Johnny Johnson.
Eggers’ Democratic opponent, Mark Weinkrantz has raised $33,966, but has only spent $12,962.
Eggers didn’t raise any money during the latest reporting period from August 22 to August 29. He spent $8,958, most of it on campaign mailers.
Weinkrantz brought in $5,950 this period. He spent a whopping $9.00 on processing fees.
There are two No Party Affiliation candidates running in this race. Carl Folkman raised $5,000 this period bringing his total monetary contributions to $15,550.
Marcus Harrison didn’t post any contributions this period. In all, he’s only raised $6,050.
