Pinellas County Schools to hold jobs fair Tuesday in Largo

Pinellas County Schools will hold its first winter job fair on Tuesday for prospective employees looking to get a leg up on finding a job in public education.

The public school system for the state’s seventh-largest student population said in a release Monday they are specifically targeting current and recent college interns who studied education and have performed in-class training, though all interested members of the public are welcome.

The district is looking to fill positions in the following areas: elementary education, early childhood education, ESE, secondary (English language arts, reading, math, science), guidance and speech/language pathologists.

The event is set to take place in its  administrative building at 301 4th St. in Largo, where the the school district is headquartered.

Folks interested in participating in the jobs fair must RSVP to Jenny Furlott, professional development coordinator for Pinellas County Schools, at furlottj@pcsb.org.
