Please join this Facebook page urging Florida State to cancel its arrangement with the Koch Brothers

It is a damn disgrace that the once proud “Berkeley of the South” — the school credited with inventing “streaking” — has surrendered its sense of academic freedom to the Koch Brothers. Don’t get me wrong, the Koch Brothers money is as good as anyone’s, so they can contribute to Florida State University all they want. But their money should not be allowed to buy them the abilityto interfere in faculty hiring at a publicly funded university. That’s why I am asking you to join this Facebook page to protest this arrangement and to urge FSU to cancel this contract so that a new one can be written guaranteeing the university’s academic freedom.
