Poor Jamie Bennett

I don’t blame Jamie Bennett. I really don’t. Like I’ve said before, I bring out the best and the worst of people. From Jamie Bennett, I extracted a sense of energy and purpose he did not have before. He was a second-tier candidate before Barry and I got a hold of him and that’s where he will end up now that he doesn’t have us. You’re not a fool if you contribute to him, nor are you a fool if you volunteer for him, but doing either will be a complete waste of time. Pick another candidate and try to get them into the primary.

Don’t believe me? That’s fine, but let me remind you that no matter what all of this is going to continue to play out in the press for the next three months. And right about the time you are ready to vote, the Florida Election Commission and Florida Commission on Ethics will release their reports slamming Bennett. Just for not disclosing the expenditures, Bennett will be fined enough money to bottom-out his campaign.

Poor Jamie Bennett, one mistake after another. The only smart thing he did was hire Barry and I. And for the three months we were running the show, he was a credible candidate. Now he’s just a lost cause.
