Pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC releases holiday-themed “12 Days of GOP Christmas”

in 2017/Top Headlines by

‘Tis the season … for holiday-themed political attacks.

In the spirit of the holidays, Correct the Record, a rapid-response operation supporting Hillary Clinton, launched a “fun and festive” carol – the GOP’s 12 Days of Christmas.

Based on the 12 days of Christmas, the web-based parody offers a dozen of the Republican Party’s “most out-of-touch, out-of-date moments” just ahead of the Republican presidential debate Tuesday evening.

“While the American people are excited about voting in next year’s presidential election,” the site says, the only thing Republican candidates have to look forward to is coal in their stocking and another year on the Naughty List.”

After accusing the GOP of having “zero” new ideas, they then blast them such Christmas cheer as: nine times they failed the middle class, the 11 hours Hillary Clinton appeared before the Benghazi committee,  five (make that 4) government departments Ted Cruz wants to eliminate and “the top 1 percent, which the Republicans are fighting for.”

founded in Nov. 2013, Correct the Record is an offshoot PR operation of American Bridge 21st Century, launched by founder David Brock as a strategic research and rapid response team designed to defend Clinton from “baseless attacks.”
