Mitt Romney will be in St. Petersburg Wednesday morning for an event at the Mirror Lake Lyceum, but his visit will be met by a group of protesters.

According to a news release, the “99 percenters” will be protesting Romney and his policies that the protesters say only favor the one percent.

The group says it is protesting, ” … his vision of a Bain Capital economy that benefits the super-wealthy on the backs of students, veterans, Medicare recipients and working families.

A red carpet will be rolled over protesters as they lie on the ground.

“As the GOP rolls out the red carpet for Mitt Romney and his one percent agenda, demonstrators will roll out their own red carpet and invite Mr. One-Percent himself to walk on the backs of the 99-percent,” the news release said.
