This campaign is still in its infancy, and anyone who knows anything about politics would understand that 14 months in politics is an eternity.

So let’s look at the supposed “grand slam” of endorsements Governor Charlie Crist has scooped up. Senator John Cornyn, Chairman of the National Senatorial Republican Committee (NRSC) and Senator Mitch McConnell promptly endorsed Crist just after Crist had issued his announcement that he was running for Senate.
