Josh Shulman has received the endorsement of Rick Kriseman, current State Representative for the now District 69 seat Shulman seeks.

“I am excited about Josh’s candidacy and the prospect of him serving in the Florida House. He is smart and energetic and his financial background makes him uniquely equipped to look out for our best interests,” said Rick Kriseman, “Josh will bring a much-needed common sense approach to the Legislature.”

With Kriseman’s endorsement, I guess this means no other credible Democrat will be filing to run for this seat.

Shulman had this to say, “There are few leaders in our community who have fought as steadfastly for the people of Pinellas County and Florida as Rick Kriseman.  It is both tremendously humbling and an honor to receive Rick’s endorsement to pick up the flag, carry the banner, and continue the fight in Tallahassee.”

Shulman added, “The endorsement by those who have been there and know what is at stake is important, I now look forward to earning the endorsement of the voters in November.”
