Tampa Bay Times enterprise reporter Peter Jamison is the latest person to depart the St. Petersburg-based newspaper. He will be taking a position at the Los Angeles Times.

A California native, Jamison has been a general assignment writer for the Times since 2012, where he focuses on the criminal justice system.

Prior to his time in Florida, Jamison’s bio says he worked at newspapers in San Francisco and New Hampshire. He will be starting at the Los Angeles Times in January.
