Rick Scott can’t even tell the truth about writing a book

It would seem Governor Rick Scott can’t even tell the truth about writing a book.

Steve Bousquet of the Tampa Bay Times tweeted this morning: “Gov. Rick Scott’s book due out in April. Chasing Sunshine: Remarkable People Who Found the American Dream in FL., written with Heidi King.”

This news is counter to what Scott said just last week.

According to a transcript of a press gaggle on March 6, Scott was asked directly, “… are you writing a book?”a

Scott’s reply: “I’m not planning on…I’m writing a book. I’m not not planning on having a book before the election.”

Scott was then asked if he was writing a book for after the election. Scott replied, “I’m not planning on one before the election.”

Correct me if I am wrong, but April is before the election, right?
