Rick Scott makes two appointments to board of Florida Polytech

Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of Joseph L. Caruncho and Robert W. Stork to the Florida Polytechnic University Board of Trustees.

Caruncho, 54, of Miami, has been the CEO of Preferred Care Partners since 1998. Caruncho has served on Florida International University’s Board of Trustees, Foundation Board, College of Business Dean’s Council, and Center for Leadership Advisory Council. He is appointed for a term beginning November 5, 2012, and ending June 30, 2014.

Stork, 60, of Vero Beach, is the CEO of Communications International Inc.  Stork serves on the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council and the Florida Technology, Research, and Scholarship Board. He is appointed for a term beginning November 5, 2012, and ending June 30, 2014.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
