Never mind that so many prominent names have “flipped” parties, including some he;d profess to respect, like Ronald Reagan. I guess you’re only an “opportunist” if its the guy from the other party that does it. Otherwise you’re “maturing” or something like that.

But it’s probably Scott’s best move, since he sure can’t run on the fact that the unemployment rate in Florida has been lowered in good part because so many frustrated people have left the workforce; that Florida’s long term unemployment is among the worst in the nation, if not THE worst; and that many of the jobs he brings are poached from other states and come already “occupied”. Nope. He’ll try the same strategy as before: Buy the election (that 500K sure would be useful as aid to those long term unemployed, wouldn’t it?). Let’s be sure we don’t fall for that one again.
