Rove’s Crossroads GPS launches third TV ad against Obama in Florida

Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (Crossroads GPS) today announced a new issue advocacy ad in Florida, backed by a $1.7 million TV buy, in its $5.5 million effort in the state to focus the issue debate on jobs, the economy, taxes and debt.

According to a press release, “Stopwatch” portrays the cumulative impact of the Obama Administration’s failure to address the national debt, ignoring even President Obama’s own deficit-reduction panel.

The television buy includes network affiliates in Florida as well as Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.  It is the third spot in a national issue advocacy effort which totals $25 million.

The new ad will start airing on Tuesday, June 5 and run for two weeks.
